Most users of the source code probably don't need to have day to day access to the source code as it changes. For these users we provide easy to unpack source code downloads via our download pages.

Access the CVS Source Tree

If you are sure that you need access to the current source, you should know this: There's two different forms of CVS access. The first is anonymous and anybody can use it. The second is reserved for the active developers and you must ask for a login to the development server.

Anonymous CVS Access

You must use this configuration to access the anonymous CVS:

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.tml.hut.fi:/cvs login 
password: anonymous

cvs -d :pserver:anonymous@cvs.tml.hut.fi:/cvs checkout xsmiles
